Exceptionally good food and service in a renovated historical downtown building. The LA hot dog was the best I've ever eaten. We arrived a few minutes before opening and the bartender/server graciously allowed us in, greeting us warmly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will certainly return when I find myself in downtown Pomona, which appears to be on the verge of resurgence thanks to an influx of young entrepreneurs such as the ones operating The Rookery. I urge readers to support downtown revitalization by patronizing this outstanding establishment.

First time here. I usually stay away from Pomona but this place had good reviews and the menu is attractive. Was not disappointed at all. The service was great and the atmosphere was warm an welcoming. The food was good we had burgers and chimichurri fries and Brussel spouts and everything was delicious. If you are in the mood for some freshly made food that is prepared to order and flavors with great service. Give this place a try. Will be back to see if it is consistent and try the wings.
We are here on the breezy Shaded pati enjoying a nitro Belgian quad, with our dog. May be a bit more costly, but places like this need to be supported and kept alive. Food is good, atmosphere excellent, great beers. And super friendly staff every time that we come here.
Really nice simple relaxing place for lunch, I would love to come back for dinner. The food was very good.... we kept it simple with tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was tasty, I wish they used a more flavorful cheese, but it was pretty good, and the bread needed to be a little more dense... but that might be a personal thing. The staff were super friendly and professional. I loved that there were no TVs only the two advertising the beers on Tap... I miss the days of pubs with no TV... nothing worse than talking to someone while the look over your shoulder at a game...or commercial...or nothing. I want to come back for a night out. This place has great beer in tap and some great food choices. Los iron fries with either beef or chicken is great. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers on the menu.
